May be :
5.2 However, this general approach must be balanced with the need to ensure that the issuing of pavement licences:
• does not put public health or safety at risk;
• does not lead to anti-social behaviour or public nuisance; and
• ensures that the public, particularly those with disabilities such as sight impairment, are unhampered when walking along streets.
Should such as site impairment or those requiring mobility assistance equipment ----
mobility scooters take up a lot of pavement space, a couple of chairs and a table soon blocks access for them

Consultations
Good Morning
The above was discussed at Ingleton Parish Council Meeting on Monday.
The Council has had various issues in the past with licences issued in the Village.
It was felt that this new Policy was a great improvement on the previous one gave clarification regarding some of the issues that had been experienced in the past.
Therefore, the Council were extremely supportive of the new Policy.
Kind Regards

3. Response from the public by email
Thanks Mark, I appreciate that info.
The draft policy is excellent, some parts brought a smile to my face, I just hope that the licensees of the premises will not be able to get away with "stretching the rules to suit themselves" from the beginning, which is where previous licensing policy fell down, and led to some small cafes on the old part of Church completely blocking the narrow footpath with furniture, and no licence. Hope you’ve got some good staff.
I’m just completing the response form for the second time. I was checking it before sending earlier, and lost it, so there may be one incomplete document from me.
Best wishes,
